These Are Kristen Stewart’s Most Profitable Movies (Besides The Twilight Saga)
Actress Kristen Stewart has been in much more than just the iconic 'Twlight' saga, including the brand new biopic 'Spencer'.

Kristen Stewart has built a lengthy filmography since her debut on the big screen in 2002, but she is most recognized for her role as the iconic (yet somehow basic) Bella Swan in the film adaption of the Twilight Saga, But despite the five movie film series being one of the highest grossing franchises of all time, Kristen Stewart has gone on to take part in a variety of different films.
Recently appearing in Hulu’s Happiest Season and the critically acclaimed Princess Diana biopic Spencer, Kristen Stewart is no stranger to playing a leading lady. But the question now is which film has grossed the highest while having Kristen Stewart front and center?
9 ‘Catch That Kid’ — Box Office: $16 Million

One of the earliest works by Kristen Stewart, this movie centers around three kids who must try to rob one of the most secure banks out there if they want to save one of their own. Kristen plays Maddie, a climber who will do whatever it takes to save her dad. The cast of this film included many future (and current) stars like Corbin Bleu, Max Thieriot, Jennifer Beals, and Sam Robards. The film grossed around $16 million worldwide.
8 ‘Adventureland’ — Box Office: $17.2 Million
A comedy drama about a run down theme park, Kristen Stewart plays Em Lewis opposite Jesse Eisenberg’s James Brennan. A film about summer jobs, this movie explores everyday life and love in a small town. The rest of the cast includes big names like Ryan Reynolds, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, and Martin Starr. The film only grossed $17.2 million worldwide, but fans raved about the film and it soon became a teenhood staple.
7 ‘American Ultra’ — Box Office: $30.3 Million

In 2015, Kristen Stewart once again played opposite Jesse Eisenberg in the action comedy American Ultra. A film about a stoner revealed to be a sleeper agent (a fact hidden to even himself), the two must survive as many different agents come to eliminate them. Other castmates include Topher Grace, Connie Britton, Walton Goggins, and John Leguizamo. And while the film seemed to flop at the box office and had mixed reviews from critics, fans praised the Kristen Stewart plot twist.
6 ‘Underwater’ — Box Office: $40.9 Million
A sci-fi horror film about a crew of drillers trapped at the bottom of the ocean after an earthquake releases a dangerous creature lurking in the shadows, Underwater was released in 2020 as the final film from 20th Century Fox before they were bought out. Kristen Stewart starred as lead Norah Price, an engineer determined to find a way out. Other castmates include Vincent Cassel, Jessica Henwick, John Gallagher Jr., Mamoudou Athie, and T.J. Miller. The film grossed a total of $40 million worldwide but it was ultimately a loss against their $50 million budget.
5 ‘Café Society’ — Box Office: $43.8 Million
The third and final film on the list that features both Kristen Stweart and Jesse Eisenberg as leads is 2016’s Café Society. The film is a 1930s style romantic comedy about a man moving to Hollywood only to fall in love with an assistant of a powerful talent agent (who also just so happens to be his uncle). Stewart plays assistant Veronica, also known as Vonnie. The rest of the cast includes Jeannie Berlin, Steve Carell, Blake Lively, Parker Posey, and Corey Stoll. This film received generally positive reviews and gained around $43 million at the box office.
4 ‘The Messengers’ — Box Office: $55 Million
A horror film, The Messengers is about a family moving to a farm, only to reveal there is darkness and death around every corner. Kristen Stewart plays older daughter Jess, an irresponsible teen who is not happy with the family’s sudden move. The cast includes John Corbett, William B. Davis, and Dylan McDermott. Despite this thriller gaining a rough Rotten Tomato score of 12%, it did receive a sequel (although Stewar and the other original castmates did not reprise their roles). The film grossed around $55 million.
3 ‘Zathura: A Space Adventure’ — Box Office: $65.1 Million

A space adventure movie for kids, this was one of Stewart’s earlier roles in her career. Despite playing a seemingly minor role, Stewart brought a certain level of humor to the classic big sister role. Opposite Josh Hutcherson and Dax Shephard, Kristen played older sister Lisa who had a crush that no one saw coming. A sister film to the classic Jumanji, Zathura made $65 million in the box office and despite not being a comerical success (since the budget for the film was $65.1 million), the film is still considered a childhood classic to this day.
2 ‘Charlie’s Angels’ — Box Office: $73.3 Million
A reboot of an American classic, Charlie’s Angels centers around the two current “Angels” and a former agent on a mission to steal a deadly weapon. Technically the third film in the series, the film stays in the Angel’s universe despite being a reboot. Kristen played the spunky and rebellious Sabina, a fan favorite in the film by many. And despite the sequel being cancelled due to box office blows, the film made $73 million worldwide.
1 ‘Snow White And The Huntsman’ — Box Office: $418 Million

The most profitable Kristen Stewart movie to date (outside of the Twilight franchise), Snow White and The Huntsman takes the classic tale we all know and turns it on it’s head. This film also starred Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, and Bob Hoskins. But the most hype this movie got was when Stewart was spotted with director Rupert Sanders, sparking many illicit cheating rumors. Many fans were heartbroken that she and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson were no longer together. The film would later have a prequel called The Huntsman: Winter’s War, but Stewart could not reprise her role (but would been seen in archival footage). The film grossed a total of $418 million at the box office, making it the highest grossing film that Stewart has been a lead in besides her iconic run as Bella Swan
