Sons Of Anarchy: 10 Most Questionable Life Choices The Main Characters Made
The characters on Sons of Anarchy make a lot of bad decisions and questionable life choices. Here are the worst of them all.

Good decisions should always outnumber bad ones but in the fictional town of Charming, the opposite seems to be the case. The characters of Sons of Anarchy can’t help but make mistakes. While some mistakes are minor, some are too big that they not only affect the decision-maker but have a domino effect on those around them.
Perhaps the only character who constantly makes good life choices is Chibs. It’s thus not surprising that he is still standing when the series ends. He becomes SAMCRO president too. Hopefully, he won’t get drunk with power. The following are some of the baffling life choices the main characters made.
10Opie Quits His Decent Job To Rejoin SAMCRO

In the series premiere, Opie has a decent job as a lumberjack at a local timber mill. He has just gotten out of prison and his wife Donna is of the opinion that he should steer clear of his former life of crime.
Opie agrees with Donna until Jax shows up and convinces him that his services are needed at the club. Opie agrees to go back and this ends up costing him dearly. Towards the end of the first season, Donna gets ƙ𝔦ℓℓd by Tig in a case of mistaken identity. Opie also finds himself back in prison in Season 5 where he is ƙ𝔦ℓℓed by Damon Pope’s goons.
9Unser Catches A Bullet For Gemma

The case of Gemma and Unser is truly a sad one. Unser crushes on Gemma for a long time and even goes on to confess his feelings for her. However, she gives him no chance because he is simply not her type. She likes gαngsters at the top of the food chain like JT, Clay, and Nero. Despite not being interested in Unser romantically, she keeps him around so she can extract favors from him.
Gemma’s evil ways soon catch up with her after Jax discovers that she ƙ𝔦ℓℓed Tara. He finds out where she is hiding and goes to ƙ𝔦ℓℓ her. However, Unser, who has been around SAMCRO long enough to know how street justice plays out decides to try and stop Jax. He claims Gemma is all he has left. Why is that so? She doesn’t even want him. Unser ɗ𝔦ᥱs a very avoidable ɗᥱαꚍɧ.10 SecBehind The Scenes Of Harry Potter Actors Last Day On Set
8Tig’s Quest For Vengence

When Clay gets sh0t by Opie, SAMCRO members are told that two African American men did it. Angry, Tig goes on a misguided revenge mission against Laroy. Hᥱ triᥱs to hit him with his 𝘤αr whilᥱ hᥱ’s hαving lun𝘤h outsidᥱ α rᥱstαurαnt ᑲut ᥱnds up hitting his girlfriend Veronica instead. Tig out to have done his homework before retaliating.
He has made a huge mistake because Veronica happens to be Damon Pope’s daughter. When Pope learns about what Tig did, he kidnaps the SAMCRO member’s daughter and burns her alive as he watches in despair. The punishment doesn’t end there. Pope demands the ɗᥱαꚍɧ of another member, hence Opie gets ƙ𝔦ℓℓed in prison.
7Gemma Blames The Chinese For Tara’s ɗᥱαꚍɧ

ƙ𝔦ℓℓing Tara is a poor decision on its own because Tara isn’t guilty of what Gemma thinks she is. But Gemma does worse by blaming the Chinese for the ᑲrutαl ɱʋrɗᥱr
The man she identifies as the ƙ𝔦ℓℓer is ᑲrutαly tortured and ɱʋrɗᥱred by Jax. It’s later revealed that the man wasn’t even in the state at the time the ɱʋrɗᥱr happened. SAMCRO’s retaliation against the Chinese leads to the ɗᥱαꚍɧs of plenty of innocent men. Instead of taking back her lie, Gemma just watches in glee as the bl00dshed goes on.
6 Bobby Sleeps With Otto’s Old Lady

In Season 2, Bobby is appointed Cara Cara’s bookkeeper. Thanks to his keen eye, he discovers that Otto’s Old Lady Luann Delaney—who happens to be the establishment’s owner—is defrauding SAMCRO. When she inquires what her punishment would be, he tells her that the decision is up to the club.
Worried, Luann offers Bobby ຣᥱ𝑥 in order to keep her financial sins a secret. Despite knowing that Luann is the wife of a SAMCRO member who is in jail, he sleeps with her and cooks the books. This way, he keeps the club from getting much-needed cash. Otto also finds out what happened and decides to rat on him.
5 Clay’s Domestic Vi0lence Incident

Somehow, Clay feels it’s a good idea to put a hit on Tara. As was the case with Donna, he tries to call it off but he’s unable. Luckily, Tara survives, with only her hand injured. When Gemma confronts him about it, he mercilessly beats her up.
This proves to be the turning point in their relationship. After the assault, Gemma loses her love for him. Clay no longer has that single person who can back him even when he does something senseless. Gemma ends up falling in love with Nero and Clay loses her completely.ADVERTISEMENT
4 Juice Becomes An Informant

Juice makes one of the most baffling decisions in the series. When AUSA Potter singles him out as a weak link and targets him, Juice doesn’t put up much of a fight. When Roosevelt finds out that Juice’s father is black and threatens to tell the other SAMCRO members, Juice agrees to become an informant in order to keep that piece of information a secret.
Instead of ratting, Juice should have simply come clean to his colleagues. Even though African Americans weren’t initially allowed to be SAMCRO members, such a thing was unlikely to put him in trouble, compared to him being an informant. But he doesn’t initially come clean and in his efforts to protect himself, he even ƙ𝔦ℓℓs fellow SAMCRO member Miles.
3 Wendy’s ɗrʋġ Addiction

Wendy’s ɗrʋġ addiction is the source of most of her woes in the series. She is kept away from her son because she is seen as unfit to be a mother. She thus has to painfully watch her son Abel being raised by her ex-boyfriend’s new partner.
Wendy’s inability to resist using ɗrʋġs also has a direct effect on her son who ends up being born with a birth defect. And just as she is making good progress in her rehabilitation, she relapses again in Season 6. Nero and Unser find her unconscious. She then ends up back in a rᥱhαᑲ 𝘧α𝘤ility.
2Tara Agrees To Be Jax’s Old Lady

In Season 4, Tara accepts that Jax will now be the head of SAMCRO. In an iconic scene, she stands behind his seat at the clubhouse (the way Gemma did), signifying that she has agreed to be his Old Lady. It’s surprising that she does this yet she has been wanting to get out of Charming for the longest time.
She knows the town is not a good place to raise her children. She also knows Jax’s criminal career is neither good for him or her. Despite all this, she stays and sinks deeper and deeper into the vi0lence and chaos of Charming. Given the kind of influence she has on Jax, a better course of action for her would be refusing to commit until he agrees to leave the town with her.
1Jax Crashes His Bike Into A Truck

This is Hamlet after all and that’s how the story has to end but Jax doesn’t have to ƙ𝔦ℓℓhimself. By crashing his bike into a truck, he is emulating his father JT. However, JT’s ɗᥱαꚍɧ, in the same manner, wasn’t his own choosing. His bike’s engine was tampered with, thanks to a scheme by Clay and Gemma.
Jax has two children who have recently lost a mother that they’ve known their entire life. Losing him too would be heartbreaking to them but he never considers that. Perhaps Jax needed to make a run, go into hiding and start a new life elsewhere, or simply take his chances in prison.
