Kristen Stewart is engaged! The Spencer actress said yes after girlfriend of two years Dylan Meyer proposed: ‘We’re marrying, it’s happening’

Kristen Stewart of Twilight fame has said yes to her girlfriend Dylan Meyer’s proposal.
The beauty, 31, broke the news when on Howard Stern on Tuesday as she promoted her new movie Spencer in which she plays Princess Diana.
‘We’re marrying, we’re totally gonna do it,’ she announced on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show.
‘I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it. We’re marrying, it’s happening,’ added the Chanel model.

The red carpet fixture also described the proposal: ‘I wasn’t specific at all. It’s not a given that I would be the one. You know what I mean? With two girls, you never know like who’s going to fulfill what weird f***ing gender role thing. We don’t do that or think about it in those terms. She just grabbed that bowl and made it happen. It was f***ing so cute,’ said the cover girl.
One year ago Stewart said she wanted to marry Meyer and was thinking about how to propose. The former child actress has been with her partner for two years after first meeting six years ago then reconnecting in 2019.
‘The day that I met her, all bets were off,’ Stewart told Stern. ‘I was like, “Where have I been and how have I not known you?” She’s been, like, living in LA alongside my life somehow but not ever converging?’
Meyer is a writer and actress who is known for the films Moxie (2021), Rock Bottom (2019) and Miss 2059 (2016).

Kristen has previously dated supermodel Stella Maxwell, Sara Dinkin, St Vincent, Alicia Cargile, Rupert Sanders, Robert Pattinson, Michael Angarano and the late Anton Yelchin.
The California native made headline news in July 2012 when it was revealed she had cheated on her Twilight co-star Pattinson with her Snow White And The Huntsman director Sanders.
After she ended her relationship with Pattinson for good, she began dating women. Alicia appeared to be her first girlfriend; they dated from 2014 until 2016.
Kristen told InStyle in 2020 she felt ‘pressured’ being labelled a ‘lᥱsᑲiαn.’
‘The first time I ever dated a girl, I was immediately being asked if I was a lᥱsᑲiαn. And it’s like, “God, I’m 21 years old.” I felt like maybe there were things that have hurt people I’ve been with. Not because I felt ashamed of being openly gαy but because I didn’t like giving myself to the public, in a way. It felt like such thievery,’ she shared

Her relationship with Dylan seems to have been steady right from the start in 2019.
Sources said that as soon as they met, Kristen was very ‘focused’ on her girlfriend.
A source told E! News in 2019: ‘Kristen is spending time with Dylan and very happy about it. She was seeing Stella for a little bit while it worked, but now she has moved on with Dylan. She is focused on having fun … [They are] on both coasts together [and they] see each other as much as possible.’
They went Instagram official in October 2019.
Kristen had previously revealed she only embarks on a relationship with those who bring out her good sides, and who work as the perfect addition to her life.
She said: ‘I only date people who complement me.’

Kristen said at the time she wanted to date around for a while.
She explained: ‘Some people know they like grilled cheese and they’ll eat it every day for the rest of their lives. I want to try everything. If I have grilled cheese once I’m like, ‘That was cool, what’s next?’ … I’ve been deeply in love with everyone I’ve dated. Did you think I was faking?’
The movie icon also admitted she dislikes having to explain her love life to other people.
She said: ‘There’s this idea that you’re beholden in some way, and I resent that. And it comes across like I’m ungrateful or something but, actually, I just find it weird to talk to the general public as a whole.’

A year ago Stewart took over her girlfriend Meyer’s Instagram to urge people to vote.
The Charlie’s Angels actress donned a t-shirt with the word ‘VOTE’ printed on it.
She encouraged American citizens to make sure they hand in their ballot and have their say on who will be the next President.
